I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life and navigating the world in a constant state of stress can, at times, become totally debilitating. Having such crippling anxiety makes me want to withdraw and hide away from life, but the isolation that comes from that is almost worse. Avoidance became just a different form of suffering. So Amelie gets me out, she helps me to do the things I need to do, but far more importantly than that, she helps me do the things that bring me joy.
