How do I book services with you?

In the first instance please contact me through the website or you can call me on 416 871 3425 and tell me a little bit about your dog(s)!

Where are you based and do travel?

I’m based in Toronto and do the majority of my local sessions in and around Windfields Park, Cherry Beach, the RC Harris Water Treatment Plant or Taylor Creek Park at sunrise and sunset. I toured Canada during 2022 and am planning have another Canadian tour for 2024. I am available for both private and commercial commissions internationally.

How and when do I make payment?

Your session fee of $175 must be made in advance of your session to secure it. You can purchase additional prints or products at your purchase appointment which we schedule within 3-5 days of your session. Payment can be made via e-transfer, stripe and paypal. If required, payment can be split over 2-3 months.

Do you do any indoor photo shoots?

I love working outdoors combining natural and strobe light - in essence, we’re bringing the studio outdoors to the dogs. I find that not only are dogs much happier in this environment but  I can achieve more variety in the images captured. I also love being able to capture actions shot and your dogs in different seasons.

What happens during a typical session?

We will meet at the shoot location at the agreed time and get your dog acclimatized to the camera (and strobe lighting). I will then take some practice shots to check the lighting and then will head straight into the shoot. You will be required at times to assist with the lighting during the session - I will provide full direction, but do let me know if you have any physical limitations. You are strongly advised to bring a friend or family member to assist with handling the dog (s) and lighting. Alternatively we can aim to bring in an assistant to help with the lighting which has a $75 assistant hire fee. (However due to the nature of the hours that I work, I am not always able to secure an assistant). You can find out how best to prepare for your photoshoot here.

Can you take photos of our children / family during our session?

I am predominantly a dog photographer and so the focus of my work will always be on your dog. I do however work on a project whereby I capture the unique bond between dogs and their owner so I am more than happy to incorporate a few of these shots into your session.

What happens if we have bad weather?

We can shoot in all conditions apart from rain or heavy snow. If the weather forecast looks unfavourable I will contact you the day before the proposed shoot to reschedule.
